Regarding the Thursday evening fixing in dollar terms it declined by 4.9.
The cost of gold ounce in euros made 1080.692 (-4.161) and in British pounds 860.2 (-0.531). The interbank gold fixing is carried out every trading day at 10.30 and 15.00 GMT. The fixing results are used as a guide to trade the gold futures around the world. 5 financial institutes physically participating in delivery of gold determine the price.
