Regarding the Tuesday evening fixing in dollar terms it declined by 8.75.
The cost of gold ounce in euros made 1146.686 (-0.69) and in British pounds 884.157 (-8.913).
The interbank gold fixing is carried out every trading day at 10.30 and 15.00 GMT.
The fixing results are used as a guide to trade the gold futures around the world. 5 financial institutes physically participating in delivery of gold determine the price.
