Regarding the Thursday evening fixing in dollar terms it decreased by 12.
The cost of gold ounce in euros made 1112.927 (-7.018) and in British pounds 868.780 (-6.646). The interbank gold fixing is carried out every trading day at 10.30 and 15.00 GMT. The fixing results are used as a guide to trade the gold futures around the world. 5 financial institutes physically participating in delivery of gold determine the price.
