Regarding the Tuesday evening fixing in dollar terms it rose 12.2.
The cost of gold ounce in euros made 1094.116 (-0.258) and in British pounds 860.234 (-1.585). The interbank gold fixing is carried out every trading day at 10.30 and 15.00 GMT. The fixing results are used as a guide to trade the gold futures around the world. 5 financial institutes physically participating in delivery of gold determine the price.
