Almaty. August 4. Silkroadnews - on the Kyrgyz-Tajik border occured a conflict between residents of Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan. As a result 5 citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic are injured, said KyrTAG.
The conflict arose from the fact that the citizens of Tajikistan blocked the road to the cemetery for the residents of Kok Tash. In protest, Kyrgyzs blocked the water in the canal, which flows into the Tajik village Chorku.
Border Representative of Kyrgyzstan held several meetings with representatives of Tajikistan border. During the meeting it was decided to monitor the situation in the border areas, as well as to take joint actions in case of aggravation of the situation at the state border.
