At the summit in June the SCO member states plan to adopt tourism development program

Almaty. March 18. Silkroadnews – This June during the Tashkent summit the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) member states plan to adopt a program for the development of cooperation in tourism field, Russian mass-media write.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan informs, on March 15-17 Beijing held a meeting of SCO experts to discuss the cooperation in tourism.
“During the meeting the participants discussed the draft program for the development of cooperation in tourism among the SCO member states. The document will be adopted following the SCO summit in Tashkent,” - the publication says.
The SCO summit will be held in Tashkent on June 23-24.
The SCO unites Russia, China, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan. Belarus, Mongolia, India, Iran, Pakistan and Afghanistan hold the observer states status. In July 2015, the SCO decided to admit India and Pakistan as full members. Following the SCO summit in Ufa the SCO chairmanship passed from Russia to Uzbekistan.
