Azerbaijan and Iran have discussed the possibility of cooperation in oil sector

Almaty. November 30. Silkroadnews - Azeri state company SOCAR and National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC) in Tehran discussed the possibility of implementing joint projects in exploration and production of oil and gas, including in third countries, reports Trend.
SOCAR president Rovnag Abdullayev during a visit to Iran on November 28 met with the Minister of Oil of this country Bijan Namdar Zanganeh and head of NIOC Rokneddin Javadi.
Reportedly, the sides discussed possibilities of cooperation in several areas, in particular, swap operations for oil and gas trading operations, projects, exploration and production of oil and gas in Iran, Azerbaijan, and third countries, as well as projects in the field of petrochemicals.
