Almaty. January 11. Silkroadnews - The Beijing court started providing legal services via WeChat messenger, the China Daily reported.
“Beijing No 4 Intermediate People’s Court began offering legal services on its WeChat platform on Wednesday, aiming to make lawsuits easier for litigants,” the report said.
According to Cheng Hu, the court’s vice-president, the residents can file cases, provide judicial materials, follow lawsuits and receive verdicts on the WeChat platform instead of going to the court, which will save their time and also improve the court’s work efficiency.
With this, he added, senior citizens, who are not good at typing, can also use voice data input, a “highlight of this system.”
Li Xiang, the representative of the Beijing High People’s Court, praised the innovation, adding that this experience will be extended to other courts throughout the city.
