Almaty. August 4. Silkroadnews – Belarus offers China around 200 innovative projects to invest, BelTA writes.

“Forum will present around 200 Belarusian projects, which we are interested to attract investments into. These are projects in almost all the fields, including medicine, nanotechnology, mechanical engineering”, chairman of the State Committee for Science and Technology Alexander Shumilin said at the Belarusian-Chinese forum on commercialization of scientific and technological activities.

During the forum the Belarusian Innovation Fund plans to sign a cooperation agreement with 10 venture companies of China.

“In future this cooperation may transform into a separate Belarusian-Chinese venture fund. The Chinese side has a very pragmatic attitude on such issues and believe the funding shall be allocated for a specific project’s purposes. As soon as we have such projects the joint venture fund concept will be considered as well”, A. Shumilin said.

The Belarusian-Chinese forum on commercialization of scientific and technical activities is held in Minsk on August 4-5.
