Belarus to provide USD 3 mln for strengthening of Tajik-Afghan border

Dushanbe. March 28. Silkroadnews – Belarus President made a decision to provide USD 3 mln for strengthening of borders between Tajikistan and Afghanistan, as Belarus Ambassador to Tajikistan, Olga Gavruk, announced at the International Conference “Central Eurasian Security Issues in modern world order: trends and approaches to ensure stability”
She also reminded that Belarus actively supported Tajikistan’s concerns about strengthening of border security between Tajikistan and Afghanistan following the withdrawal of NATO forces from Afghanistan. Those concerns were first expressed during the informal summit of the CSTO Heads of States.
