Big Almaty Ring Road will be built at the expense of China

Almaty. September 2. Silkroadnews - Big Almaty Ring Road (BARR) will be built at the expense of China. This was stated by President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev during a state visit to China, KazTAG reports.
"According to the agreement, some of the projects will be free for Kazakhstan. For example, BARR near Almaty. Its length exceeds 100 km. It will be built entirely by Chinese money", - said the president.
Also, the president of Kazakhstan told about infrastructure projects that will be implemented at the expense of investment of China, the road from Almaty to Ust-Kamenogorsk, from Ust-Kamenogorsk to BARR, to the border with China, the road to the lake Alakol and Alashankou.
Big Almaty Ring Road (BARR) will be built in the parameters of the I technical category with 6 and 4-lane detour. According to forecasts, the intensity on the road will be more than 38 thousand cars per day, the estimated speed - up to 150 km/h. On the road, envisaged the construction of eight interchanges, 21 bridges, 19 viaducts and overpasses.
