"At the end of 2014 Bishkek provided a positive economic growth, with the exception of industry, where there was a decline in production", - says Mayor Kubanychbek Kulmatov.
According to the operative calculated data for 2014, the gross regional product (GRP) in Bishkek was 153 million 349 thousand soms with the real growth rate of 104.5%.
For 2014, GDP in the republic amounted to 397 million 277.1 thousand soms with a real growth rate of 103.6%, the proportion of Bishkek in the amount of the country's GDP was 38.6%.
