Bishkek. May 20. Silkroadnews – Bishkek police department proposes to make it illegal for minors to stay outside without presence of adults after 10 p. m., as Bishkek department of internal affairs informs.
“We are proposing to make it illegal for minors to stay outside after 10 p.m. without presence of adults. There are plenty of cases when children and teenagers are wandering the streets with no adults present. They frequently become victims of thefts. At times, they even end up as defendants in court themselves. There are cases, when children leave homes for several days without asking for permission. They are then spending nights in internet cafes”, as the police department explained.
If the proposed change is to be approved, the police will get a permission to hold the children until their parents show up for a talk.
