Bureaucracy and unlawful interference prevent the business development in Uzbekistan - the Minister of Finance

Almaty. September 9. Silkroadnews - Development of the business environment in Uzbekistan is faced with unlawful interference in the activities of entrepreneurs and excessive bureaucracy. This was stated by First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance of Uzbekistan Rustam Azimov, reports UzTAG.
Rustam Azimov noted that these problems prevent an increase in the number of jobs, reducing income and purchasing power of the population of Uzbekistan.
"We can talk about the full transition to a market economy only when we eliminate all the problems and obstacles to the development of private enterprise and private property. Only then the process can be called complete",- said the first deputy prime minister.
So, for the past 4 years Uzbekistan has canceled 167 licensing procedures, 19 kinds of licensed activities, as well as reduced the fees for issuing of permits in 2 times, canceled 65 types of statistical, 6 types of tax reporting.
