By 2025 China’s drones market will exceed $11 billion

Almaty. June 6. Silkroadnews – By 2025 value of the unmanned aerial vehicles market will reach 75 billion yuan (about $11.54 billion), the report by research and consulting company “IResearch” published on Sunday says, Xinhua news agency reports.

By the end of 2025 drones will be widely used in aerial photography, spraying agricultural chemicals, forest protection and security, the report said.

The authors of the document notes, recently China’s market for the civilian drones has grown by more than 50%, with a significant increase in the range of products. With this almost 70% of the world market of unmanned aerial vehicles fall on DJI company located in Shenzhen city, Guangdong province. The company is a leading producer of commercial and recreational drones for aerial photography and video. Its primary sales markets are Europe and North America.

The report also highlights some of the industry’s problems, including imperfect legal framework regulating the flights at low altitude in China and use of drones which is not that widespread so far.
