By 2030 Tajikistan will raise its energy potential from 17 to 45 billion kW/h – Rahmon stated

Almaty. June 21. Silkroadnews – By 2030 Tajikistan’s energy potential will increase almost three times – from 17 to 45 billion kW/h, President Emomali Rahmon stated, TajikTA reports.

“The Government of Tajikistan decided to raise the country’s energy potential from 17 to 45 billion kW/h per year, i.e. almost 3 times, by 2030,” E. Rahmon said at the meeting of National Development Council under the President of Tajikistan.

He also noted to improve the efficiency of Tajikistan’s energy sector it is also agreed to implement significant structural reforms.

In particular, it is planned to increase the export of clean electrical energy to neighboring countries up to 10 billion kW/h with the help of regional power lines, also within the framework of major energy project CASA-1000.
