Chile is negotiating with the EU on trade-economic cooperation

Almaty. April 22. Silkroadnews - Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) and Chile plans in the I half of 2015 to sign a memorandum of understanding, reported the press service of the commission.
As noted on April 20 in Moscow, chairman of the board of EEC Viktor Khristenko received the delegation of the Republic of Chile, headed by Foreign Minister Heraldo Muñoz.
Khristenko confirmed the readiness of the EAEC to the development of trade and economic cooperation with Chile, and said that an important step for the beginning of systematic work in this way would be the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the Eurasian Economic Commission and the Republic of Chile.
The sides also discussed the possibilities of economic cooperation between the integration organizations - the Eurasian Economic Union and the Pacific Alliance (Alianza del Pacífico), which includes Chile, Peru, Colombia and Mexico. Earlier, similar promising opportunities were discussed between the EEC and the leadership of the Republic of Peru.
