China and Botswana have agreed to strengthen cooperation in the field of culture

Almaty. August 12. Silkroadnews - Government of China and Botswana signed a plan for the implementation of the agreement on cultural cooperation between the authorities of the two countries to strengthen cultural exchange and cooperation, transmits the agency Xinhua.
"The parties agreed in 2015 to 2017 to cooperation in such fields as culture, art, education, cultural heritage, broadcasting and cinematography", - said in a statement on Wednesday.
The document was signed on August 10, by Charge d'Affaires at the Embassy of China in Botswana Lee Nanem and the Minister of Youth, Sports and Culture of Botswana Tupelo Olopeng.
This decision was taken on the basis of an intergovernmental agreement on cultural cooperation signed in 1991 in Beijing.
