China and EU to negotiate a bilateral investment agreement
Beijing. June 26. Silkroadnews - China and the European Union intend to negotiate a bilateral investment agreement, as both sides agreed to oppose protectionism and protect the global multilateral trading system, Sina.com reports quoting China’s Vice Premier Liu He saying.
China hopes the E.U. will take concrete steps to ease restrictions on European exports to China, Liu said in the course of the joint press conference with European Commission Vice-President Jyrki Katainen in Beijing.
Katainen, in his turn, urged China to ease market access restrictions and tackle the issue of steel overcapacity.
