China and France to jointly build a 60-tonnes capacity airship

Almaty. November 4. Silkroadnews – China and France launched a joint project to design an airship LCA60T of 60 tonnes lifting capacity, the Chinese media reported.
“China Aviation Industry General Aircraft”, a Chinese aircraft manufacturer, will invest in French “Flying Whales” to develop an aircraft of 60 tonnes capacity. The Chinese experts will also join the project.
The parties plan to establish factories both in China and in France. The development cycle is expected to be completed in 2019.
