China and Iran have agreed to start hybrid and electric vehicles manufacturing

Almaty. November 30. Silkroadnews – The Chinese car company BYD and Iranian Car manufacturer Kerman Motor signed a memorandum of understanding to cooperate in manufacturing hybrid and electric vehicles, Trend reports.
The Chinese company plans exporting technology to produce hybrid and electric vehicles as well as batteries to Iran.
The document also provides for export of crossover BYD E6 car and BYD Tang to Iran in 2017.
BYD Executive Director for the Middle East and Africa Ad Huang said that Iran has a high potential in terms of renewable energy use in the automotive market.
