China and Kazakhstan will create a Botanical Garden

Silkroadnews - China and Kazakhstan will create in the Akmola region, north of the Republic of Kazakhstan a Botanical Garden, on the basis of which subsequently will be formed a "Friendship Park" with area of ​​200 hectares, reported KazTAG with reference to the Deputy Chairman of the Strategic Planning Science and International Relations of Kazakh Agro-Technical University Sergey Grave Mogilniy Tuesday.
According to the deputy chairman of the board, one of the promising areas of cooperation - is the introduction of medicinal plants.
He said that the architecture of the Botanical Garden is planned to be built by 2020, later will be introduced new varieties and developed the infrastructure, creating the conditions for scientific research.
It is reported that at the Kazakh Agro Technical University was held a meeting of the delegation from the Chinese Academy of Sciences headed by the President, Mr. Bai Chunli. The delegation is on a visit to Kazakhstan on November 23-24.
