China and Kazakhstan will establish a free trade zone in the major cities along the railway

Almaty. June 2. KazTAG - In Xi'an, in the framework of the international forum of customs, China and Kazakhstan agreed to establish a free trade area in the large cities along the railway, reported the newspaper "People's Daily".
"Experts believe that such a measure will help to expand cooperation between enterprises of the two countries, which aim to deepen cooperation in the field of agriculture, to strengthen relations between the customs authorities and the business community", - said in a statement.
"During the year, will be completed the transition road Western Europe-Western China. We expect that cargo will go through Chinese roads to Europe. Of course, a lot will depend on the cooperation between the customs services of the two countries", - said chairman of the State Revenue Committee of the Ministry of Finance of Kazakhstan Daulet Ergozhin.
Participants of the forum in Xi'an called for enhanced customs cooperation among all countries along the New Silk Road.
According to the Secretary General of the World Customs Organization Kunio Mikuriya, the initiative "Belt and the Silk way" affects the interests of all countries involved in the project.
