China and Malaysia have agreed to strengthen bilateral cooperation

Almaty. May 5. Silkroadnews - Premier Li Keqiang met with the chairman of the commission for land public transport of Malaysia Sayyid Hamid bin Sayyid Jafar Albar, reported the agency Xinhua.
"At present, Sino-Malaysian relations are developing in a positive vein, and in the practical cooperation achieved dramatic results. This year, Malaysia serves as the next presiding country of ASEAN, and China is willing to further strengthen communication and cooperation with Malaysia to strengthen joint efforts to ensure peace and stability in the region, to promote a new, higher level of bilateral relations and cooperation", - Li.Keqian said.
He also said that China is the largest trading partner of Malaysia, which in turn 7 years in a row serves as China's largest trading partner among ASEAN member countries.
Important components of the multi-faceted cooperation between China and Malaysia are the infrastructure, transport and communication cooperation.
In turn, S.Albar pointed out that Malaysia is currently promoting the transformation and construction of projects in areas such as public transport, and expressed confidence that China can fully play an important role in this area. Malaysia aims to further strengthen mutually beneficial cooperation with China and the continuous development of bilateral relations.
