China and Pakistan have agreed to strengthen cooperation on international issues
Almaty. September 2. Silkroadnews - Chinese President Xi Jinping and President of Pakistan Mamnuna Hussein during a meeting in Beijing have expressed willingness for further strengthening of cooperation between the two countries, informs the agency Xinhua.
In April this year during the visit of Xi Jinping to Pakistan, sides signed a series of agreements on cooperation in such fields as port construction, transport infrastructure, energy and industry.
"China is willing to maintain close contact with Pakistan in the field of construction of industrial zones", - said the head of China.
He said that "China will unswervingly support the efforts of Pakistan in the defense of its national security and hopes to strengthen cooperation with Pakistan on international and regional issues".
M. Hussein, in turn, assured that Pakistan values its relations with China and is committed to the creation of the Pakistan-China Economic Corridor and is ready to strengthen coordination with China in international affairs.
