China Exim Bank will provide Tajikistan credit of $68 million for the construction of Vahdat-Yavan railway
Almaty. January 14. Silkroadnews - The Export-Import Bank of China will provide Tajikistan credit of $68 million for the construction of the railway in Dushanbe, Kurgan-Tube (section Vahdat-Yavan), reports the Tajik news agency (TajikTA) on Wednesday.
First Deputy Minister of Finance of Tajikistan Jamoliddin Nuraliev noted that the project is aimed to take out the country from communication deadlock and the connection of railways of the south and center of the country.
The length of the railway line Vahdat-Yavan will be 40.7 km. At the entire length will be built three tunnels and 11 bridges.
D. Nuraliev stressed that the loan will be repaid by "Tajik Railways" and would not affect negatively on the parameters of the state budget of Tajikistan.
