Almaty. August 22. Silkroadnews – For Kyrgyzstan China has ranked the second largest investor after Russia, KyrTAG writes.

“We begin our talks with China on trade and economic agreement, on which the parties will, on one hand, create the conditions for access to the market, and, on the other hand, generate the preferences for large investment projects. It is very important for us as China have traditionally been one of the major investment partners. At the end of 2015, China has become the second largest investor after Russia”, Kyrgyzstan’s Deputy Economy Minister Almaz Sazbakov said at the press conference on Monday.

According to him, the conclusion of this type of trade and economic agreement is quite important for the Kyrgyz Republic.

“Summarizing the results of 2015 we see the investments into China amounted to about $500 million. Having carried out talks with investors we feel for them the most important factor is that Kyrgyzstan became a part of a larger market”, the deputy minister said.
