Almaty. 11 September. Silkroadnews - China has eased restrictions on the the development and production of military equipment, informed the newspaper "People's Daily".
"A new step in improving the transparency of the military-industrial sphere made the Chinese government. Now reduced the list of weapons and military equipment, development and production of which is not permitted without a license", - said in a statement.
Now restrictions remain only on the types of weapons and military equipment, which are closely linked to national strategic security, public safety and the protection of state secrets, said in the government department on defense of science, technology and industry.
In addition, a license is required to those components, which seriously affect the performance of military equipment.
The purpose of this step is to encourage competition in the sector and promote civil-military integration.
