Almaty. June 21. Silkroadnews – China hopes the forthcoming visit of Russian President Vladimir Putin will contribute to strengthening the political and strategic mutual trust between two countries, Xinhua agency quotes Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Hua Chunying saying.

“At the invitation of Chinese President Xi Jinping V. Putin will pay a state visit to China on June 25,” Hua Chunying said.

According to her, during Russian President’s visit to China Xi Jinping will hold talks with him. In particular, two leaders will exchange views on bilateral relations and international and regional issues of mutual interest, plan and identify areas for further development of Chinese-Russian relations of comprehensive strategic partnership and important cooperation areas. They will sign and publish a number of important policy documents. In their presence, the two countries’ relevant authorities and companies will sign a number of documents on practical cooperation.

The Chinese side hopes the forthcoming visit of Vladimir Putin will contribute to raising the political and strategic mutual trust between two countries, boosting the bilateral practical cooperation in various fields, bringing a new dynamic to the development of Chinese-Russian relations of comprehensive strategic partnership and cooperation and maintenance of peace, security and stability in the region and around the world, the Chinese diplomat stressed.
