China imports significantly more oil, grain and copper from Kazakhstan

Astana. March 31. Silkroadnews – Kazakhstan increased its crude oil and condensed gas export to 2.4 bln tonnes this January and February. This is equivalent to a 76.4% increase quantity-wise and 77.7% increase income-wise compared to corresponding 2013 period, as the Customs Control Committee of Kazakh Ministry of Finance reports.
Refined and unrefined copper export to China increased to 34 900 tonnes or to USD 239.2 mln this January and February. This is equivalent to 11.9% increase quantity-wise or 3% increase income-wise compared to corresponding 2013 period.
The grain exports have increased even more significantly. We now see an increase to 766 800 tones (USD 178.5 mln). This is equivalent to 83.6% increase quantity-wise and 48.7% increase income-wise compared to corresponding 2013 period.
