Almaty. September 25. Silkroadnews – China has increased gasoline exports, the Pakistani newspaper “The International News” reported.
“China’s gasoline exports rose in August as refiners continued to sell excess product abroad amid a domestic glut, customs data showed,” the report reads.
In August, the export of gasoline rose to 910,000 tonnes, which is a 35,2% increase in comparison with the last year, while the exports of diesel fuel rose to 1.47 million tonnes, up 38.2% on a year ago.
Reportedly, the state oil companies are pushing for higher export quotas in the fourth quarter of the year to take advantage of higher prices abroad and reduce the excessive supply in the domestic market. However, some companies have already used the quotas allocated to them in August.
Kerosene export fell by 7.8% compared to last year to 1.04 million tonnes in August. China’s imports of liquefied natural gas increased by 39.7% and amounted to 3.14 million tonnes.
