China investigates alleged tax evasion by stars of cinema and television
Beijing. June 5. Silkroadnews - The State Administration of Taxation has instructed local authorities, including ones of the Jiangsu Province, East China, to investigate alleged tax evasion in the film and television industry, China Daily reports.
At the same time, the tax department warned that if any cases of tax evasion are detected during the investigation, those involved in illegal activity will be punished according to the strictness of the law.
