China is ready to contribute to the development of Afghanistan's economy and improve the living conditions of its citizens

Almaty. Ocober. 29. Silkroadnews - President Xi Jinping met in Beijing with President of Afghanistan, Ashraf Ghani, informs Afghan News Agency (AfTAG).
Xi Jinping congratulated A.Ahmadzay with recent assumption of the office of President of Afghanistan. Chinese President said that China supports Afghanistan in achieving national independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity.
Chinese President stressed that after the establishment of a new government, Afghanistan has new chances of development of Chinese-Afghan relations. Parties should maintain high-level exchanges, strengthen inter-governmental, inter-parliamentary and inter-party exchanges, strengthen contacts on the most important issues.
China will increase support for Afghanistan in the peaceful reconstruction of the country, to assist in creating a plan of socio-economic development, training, development of agriculture, hydropower and infrastructure construction, promote the development of the economy and improve the living conditions of its citizens.
Parties should strengthen cooperation in the fields of security and law, jointly fight terrorism, separatism and extremism, as well as offenses relating to narcotic drugs.
Indicated that next year marks the 60th anniversary of establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Afghanistan.
