China is ready to work with other countries to improve health service
Beijing. May 23. Silkroadnews - Minister of the National Health Commission of China Ma Xiaowei said China is ready to cooperate with other countries to reduce “health injustice” and improve health services for all, Xinhua reports.
He noted, that China attaches a key importance to the creation of a high-quality and efficient system of medical care and health service, and makes every effort to make medical care accessible.
In addition, the deepening of reforms has become a strong driving force to move China’s health service forward on a road with Chinese characteristics, he added.
“China is actively participating in global health governance and promoting the building of a shared community with common destiny, as well as helping developing countries to achieve their universal health care goals,” the agency quoted him saying.
According to the Chinese official, over the past 55 years, China has sent medical teams to 69 developing countries, consisting of 250,000 health professionals and treated 280 million patients.
