China launched the remote sensing satellite “Yaogan-30”

Almaty. May 16. Silkroadnews – China has launched the remote sensing satellite “Yaogan-30”, the Chinese mass-media informs.

“Today (May 15) at 10.43 of Beijing time the remote sensing satellite “Yaogan-30” was successfully launched from Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center,” the statement said.

“Long March-2D” carrier rocket brought the satellite into the orbit planned.

“Yaogan-30” will be used for scientific experiments, land survey, crop yield estimates, disaster prevention and damage loss minimization.

“Yaogan-30” and “Long March-2D” have been designed and manufactured by “Dongfanghong” Satellite company and the Shanghai Academy of Spaceflight Technology.

This the 227th launch of “Long March series carrier rocket.
