China launched the train to Afghanistan

Almaty. August 26. Silkroadnews – China launched its first Central Asian train from Nantong city, Jiangsu Province (east China), to Afghanistan, Chinese media reported.
After the train crosses the border at Alashankou region (Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region, Northwest China), it will pass through Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan and then arrive in Hairatan city.
The train is expected to transport at least 90 cargo containers per month. The lead time is expected to make around 15 days.
