China may place a part of its chemical production in the Tatarstan

Almaty. May 12. Silkroadnews - Tatarstan and China will explore the possibility of placement in the Russian region Chinese chemical production within the expansion of long-term cooperation, informed the press service of the President of Tatarstan.
Chairman of China National Chemical and Engineering Corporation (CNCEC) Yu Jinbo at a meeting with Acting President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in Kazan said that to date the development of the chemical industry in China has reached such a level that many chemical companies are ready to expand and transfer its production to other regions. The Chinese government supports these projects.
He also invited R.Minnikhanov and representatives of Tatarstan enterprises to visit the head office of "China National Chemical Engineering Corporation" in Beijing.
In turn, the head of Tatarstan said that the Russian-Chinese relations are developing dynamically. He proposed to establish a working group to study the Chinese chemical industry products, which can be transferred to the territory of Russia and Tatarstan in particular.
Currently, the corporation is involved in the construction of the complex "Ammonium" for the production of ammonia, methanol and granulated carbamide, to be launched in Mendeleevsk in August. It is expected that the complex will produce annually 717 thousand tons of ammonia, 717 thousand tons of urea, 236 tons of methanol and about 300 thousand tons of ammonium nitrate.
