Almaty. October 23. Silkroadnews - China needs to create 15 million jobs annually to avoid unemployment, Reuters reported.
“China needs to create jobs for 15 million people every year and will maintain support for entrepreneurship to help achieve this,” the country’s labor minister Yin Weimin said.
With this he noted that the labor market continues to experience large pressure, singling out recent university graduates as one group in need of more job creation, and stressed that China can maintain a stable employment situation despite these problems.
In turn, Pakistan’s GeoTV said the unemployment in China has reached its lowest level in the last few years.
“China’s unemployment rate has hit its lowest rate in multiple years at 3.95 percent by the end of September. From January to September this year, 10.97 million new jobs have been created in China, a growth of 300,000 compared with the previous year, the ministry said in a pre-prepared statement given to reporters,” the report reads.
