Almaty. August 14. Silkroadnews - China officially launched the exchange and circulation of Mongolian currency, Xinhua news agency reported.
"In the branch of the Bank of China in the city of Erlian Hotto (Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, north China) today (August 13) at around 16.00 was made the first exchange of cash amount in the national currency of Mongolia - MNT, it marked the official start of operations for the exchange and circulation of cash in the Mongolian Currency in China", - says the publication.
Experts report that the possibility of direct payments in the pair Tugrik - Yuan promotes a direct exchange rate of RMB and Mongolia, laying the foundation for equal treatment and the use of the yuan in the cities of Mongolia.
