China raised crude oil imports 13.5% for 8 months

Almaty. September 8. Silkroadnews – For 8 months of this year China imported 250.45 million tonnes of crude oil, which shows a 13.5% growth compared to the same period of last year, TASS reported.

According to the General Administration of Customs of the People's Republic of China, 32.85 million tonnes of oil were imported in August.

The report shows that for the first eight months of this year China has raised imports of gas by 17% up to 33.84 million tonnes (46.35 billion cubic meters). Last month gas imports volume amounted to 3.34 million tonnes (4.57 billion cubic meters).

According to the results of January-August, China has cut imports of oil products by 4.5% to 19.56 million tonnes, of which in August Chinese companies imported 2.02 million tonnes of petroleum products.
