China’s aircraft company COMAC won order for 130 passenger aircraft C919

Almaty. September 19. Silkroadnews – China’s aircraft company COMAC has received new orders for 130 more C919 passenger planes, China Daily reported.
“The C919, China’s first home developed large passenger plane, won another 130 orders from four domestic leasing companies on Tuesday,” the report said.
Media noted, COMAC plays a key role in China’s desire to become a major player in the global civil aviation market, pushing out such American and European competitors as Boeing and Airbus.
Last year, COMAC reported it won orders for 413 ARJ-21 aircraft from 19 customers. The number of orders for its large passenger plane C919, which made its first flight in May, reached 600 by June; and the number of customers for this aircraft reached 24.
