Almaty. December 5. Silkroadnews - China’s authorities reminded officials of discipline having published a set of stickers for messenger, “People’s Daily” reported.
“The Central Commission for Discipline Inspection (CCDI), the Communist Party of China’s (CPC) top discipline watchdog, published a set of free stickers on WeChat, the country’s most popular messaging app,” the report said.
The release of stickers is timed for the fifth anniversary of the adoption of the eight basic regulations of conduct for officials, including, in particular, the rejection of extravagance, reduction of bureaucratic meetings and empty talks. The rules were adopted to improve the style of work of officials and improve relations between citizens and officials.
16 animated GIFs include quotes from Xi Jinping’s statements relating to eight-point regulations. For example, one sticker reminds officials that golf is forbidden, and another reminds they are forbidden to go to private clubs.
A statement by the Commission for Discipline Inspection stated that stickers are a way to narrow the distance between network users and supervisory bodies and help people better understand the spirit of the rules.
