China’s economic growth in 2016 is projected to be moderate at 6.5% – ESCAP

Almaty. April 28. Silkroadnews – China’s economic growth in 2016 is projected to be moderate, “Economic and Social Survey of Asia and the Pacific 2016” by ESCAP reports.

“China’s economic growth in China retains a moderating trend started back in 2010. In 2015 the economy grew by 6.9% compared with 7.3% growth rate in 2014. As the economic rebalancing continues further the economic growth is projected to be moderate and stand at 6.5% in 2016 and 6.3% in 2017,” the review says.

It is noted, the designated projections “still to a wide extent correspond to the minimum targets for 6.5% economic growth of China’s 13th Five-Year Plan 2016-2020”.
