China's participation in the negotiations on the nuclear program will help to expedite the decision - Rouhani

Almaty. February 16. Silkroadnews - Iranian President Hassan Rouhani said that the development of a comprehensive agreement on the Iranian nuclear program (INP) requires the political will of the partners of Tehran in the negotiating process, and China can play an important role in the speedy resolution of this issue, reported the Iranian News Agency (IrTAG).
"Given the prevailing conditions, the final agreement could be reached as soon as possible, if the opposite side shows sufficient political will. China's participation in the negotiations on the Iranian nuclear program helps to give these terms even faster",- said the president at a meeting with Chinese Foreign Minister Yi Wang in Tehran.
H.Rouhani expressed hope that the Chinese side will provide an active assistance to resolve the Iranian nuclear issue, as well as the development of a universal agreement on the Iranian nuclear program in the framework of negotiations between Iran and the international representatives of the "six".
In addition, the President noted that further expansion of cooperation between the two countries has strategic importance for regional security and development. However, he expressed his satisfaction with the current level of the Iranian-Chinese cooperation, stressing the importance of reciprocal measures to further expansion of mutually beneficial ties in all areas of bilateral relations.
The foreign minister of China assured the readiness of the Chinese side to make all necessary efforts to bring his country's relations with the Islamic Republic to the level of strategic partnership.
At the same time, Yi Wang stressed that his country recognizes the right of Iran to carry out activities in the field of peaceful nuclear energy.
