“CHINA needs to make plans for the “real possibility” of war between the US and North Korea, leading academics have alarmingly warned. Now Jia Qingguo, international relations professor at Peking University, said Beijing “must be prepared” for the event the crisis escalates into conflict,” the report said.
According to Jia Qingguo, if Kim Jong-un is removed from the power, then China, the US and South Korea should be ready for the consequences. If this happens, China will have to solve four basic issues: North Korea’s nuclear arsenal, refugees, social order and regime change.
As agency reported, China conducts an inspection of troops along its eastern border with North Korea, presumably preparing for war.
A discussion of a possible war in North Korea is also taking place in Japan.
The Deputy Prime Minister of Japan said that the nation’s troops may have to shoot refugees from North Korea, the publication notes.
It is noted that the shocking statements are caused by the fact that tension between North Korea and the US has reached a dangerous level.
As the publication reminds, the U.S. President Donald Trump threatened to “totally destroy” the DPRK, in return Kim Jong-un vowed to tame Trump with fire and said that he prepares his army to destroy the U.S. by the most powerful retaliatory strike in history.
