China to allocate $40 million to Afghanistan for the technical and vocational education

Almaty. April 13. Silkroadnews – China will provide Afghanistan with $40 million financial assistance to build a technical and vocational training center in Kabul, the Afghan Telegraph Agency (AfTAG) reports quoting Afghanistan’s Prime Minister Abdullah Abdullah.

According to prime minister, this center is planned to teach specialists in 20 areas.

He also added, so far Afghanistan has been experience a severe shortage of qualified personnel, thus, under the conditions of unemployment the country has to hire foreign specialists, meaning there is an urgent need to train domestic labor within the country.

China is also one of Afghanistan’s largest trading partners. According to the CCI of Afghanistan, the trade turnover between two states has reached $1 billion.
