China to improve the certification of quality

Almaty. September 7. Silkroadnews – China will improve the quality certification, China Radio International reported.
“The State Council said it will strengthen quality certification to help create a fair market environment and raise the quality of Chinese-made products. China will improve its quality management system to suit the characteristics of different industries”, the report said.
The focus, as reported, to be made on aviation, railway, automobile and information sectors.
The government will expand the coverage of quality certification and encourage certification of all types of companies, especially service providers, small and micro-sized enterprises.
According to the publication, compulsory certification will be required for products involving safety, health and environmental protection. To encourage businesses to undergo voluntary certification there will be special incentives introduced, the report said.
It is also noted that China will also explore new methods for monitoring quality standards, establish strict certification standards and seek international cooperation for the mutual recognition of standards.
