Almaty. April 6. Silkroadnews – China to introduce a centralized system of public procurement of medicines this April, the Xinhua news agency writes.

“The project of integrated reform of the system of medicines provision of Beijing health care institutions” was officially published on March 22, 2017, the agency reminds.

According to the document, starting from April 8, 2017, the mark-up on medicines is canceled in more than 3600 health organizations located within the administrative boundaries of the Chinese capital, along with introduction of the centralized system of public procurement of medicines and a service charge for medical services. The project also provides for the adjustment of prices for 435 types of medical services.
