China to take part in resolving Afghan issue

Almaty. October 6. Silkroadnews – Together with the international community China is willing to take part to resolve the Afghan issue, Assistant Foreign Minister Kong Xuanyou said, TASS agency writes.

«The establishment of peace in Afghanistan, its stability and development meet the interests of both the country and (the states of) the region. As a neighbor of Afghanistan, China gives great importance to the Afghan issue, having been working over the process of peaceful reconstruction and strengthening of regional cooperation», Kong Xuanyou said at the donor conference on Afghanistan in Brussels.

He also pointed out that «China is willing to maintain close contact with all the parties to participate actively in international cooperation aimed at constructive resolution of the Afghan issue».
