China will build a $200 million worth metallurgical plant in Tajikistan

Almaty. June 14. Silkroadnews – China will build a $200 million worth metallurgical plant in the north of Tajikistan, TajikTA reports.
“The $200 million metallurgical plant will be built with the Chinese investments attraction in the city of Istiklol of the Sughd region,” the press service of the chairman of Sughd region informs.
Launch of this large industrial enterprise shall create one thousand three hundred new jobs, of which 90% will give employment to the local citizens. Along with lead and zinc the company will also be able to produce limestone and spare parts.
